What preparation should be done before broilers are raised?

(1) Prepare enough breeding equipment. Commonly used equipment and utensils for raising broilers include heating equipment, drinking water equipment, feeding equipment, and cleaning equipment.

(2) When preparing enough feed, litter, and medicines for ground brooding, prepare sufficient dry, soft, mildew-free, absorbent material and lay the litter. Commonly used litter includes straw and wheat straw. Wood shavings, rice husks, etc. In particular, it is not possible to use contaminated, moldy litter. Straw is generally cut to a length of about 5 cm. To make full use of local feed resources, various feedstuffs should be prepared according to the nutritional requirements of broilers and the dietary formulation of chicks, especially feed additives, mineral feeds and animal protein feeds. Some commonly used disinfectants, anti-chicken oysters, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vaccines, anticoccidial drugs, and vaccines should be prepared.

(3) Strict disinfection of brooding houses and utensils is required before strict sterilization of the brooding houses and utensils is performed and the temperature is warmed up before entering the chickens. Two days before the brooding, test the brooding room and brooders to meet the standard requirements and check whether the temperature can be maintained. We must do a good job in safety inspections and use stoves for heating. We must arrange flues to prevent smoke from falling, fire, or gas poisoning.

(4) Establish and improve the recording system Prepare relevant record forms and carry out necessary feeding records, such as number of chickens, weekly, daily feed consumption, weekly chicken weight gain, number of dead or eliminated chickens, temperature and humidity, Vaccination and other related matters.
